Picnic recently announced the launch of its inaugural Media Quality Report, an annual report aimed at defining and measuring media quality in the digital advertising ecosystem. As part of this report, Picnic today (November 5th, 2024) reveals the top 10 publishers in the UK for 2024, as determined by Picnic Inventory Quality (PIQ), the company’s proprietary technology that gives a quantitative assessment of quality for any given domain.

The Media Quality Report highlights the publishers that provide the best online experiences for both users and advertisers. The top 10 publishers in the UK for 2024, in the following order, are:

These publishers have been identified for their ability to offer high-quality media environments that drive measurable business outcomes for advertisers. Each domain was evaluated using PIQ technology, which applies over 100 quality signals such as ad density, ad refresh rate, and robots.txt. The signals are then bucketed into 3 Indexes, Experience, Media Opportunity, and Risk Profile, and each index is allocated a unique score.
